An institution dedicated to a Safer, Healthier & More Prepared India

The First Aid Council of India (FACI) is registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), and operates through affiliation with Jharkhand State Open University — a UGC-recognised institution.

We work to promote First Aid Education, Emergency Preparedness, Health Awareness and Community Safety at every level of society — from schools and colleges to workplaces, medical institutions and community centres.

ACADEMIC · DIPLOMA

Diploma in First Aid Specialist

Comprehensive programme combining 60% theoretical learning with 40% practical training covering CPR, disaster preparedness, psychological first aid and community health awareness. Admissions open for July 2026–27.

INSTITUTIONAL

Training Centre Affiliation Programme

Partner with FACI to operate an authorised regional training centre. Standardised curriculum, trainer support, ongoing academic guidance and quality assurance.

CERTIFICATION

First Aid Trainer Certification Programmes

Eight certificate programmes ranging from 7 to 180 days — First Aid, CPR & AED, BLS for healthcare rescuers, Advanced First Aid, CEVO and Community First Responder.

COMMUNITY

Kerala School First Aid Initiative

Statewide Class 1–12 First Aid curriculum launched July 2025 — integrating first aid education, disaster preparedness, road safety and community engagement for students across Kerala.

NIRAMAYA KERALAM

Kerala's landmark statewide school programme

On 10 July 2025 at the KTDC Mascot Hotel, Thiruvananthapuram, FACI launched Kerala's school First Aid curriculum in the presence of the Hon'ble Governor of Kerala, Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar — an age-graded curriculum for Classes 1 through 12 integrating first aid education, disaster preparedness, road safety and community engagement.
