RECRUITMENT OF FIRST AID TRAINERS

Online Applications are invited for the recruitment of First Aid Trainers for the compulsory integration of First Aid Education in all schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions across Kerala, during the Academic Session 2025–26. Online Application forms may be submitted latest by 14.08.2025.

Eligibility Criteria

A. Basic Qualifications (Common for All Positions)

  • Educational Qualification: Any Graduate from a recognised university.
  • Certification: Must hold a valid certification in First Aid from NEBOSH / Red Cross Society / FACI / Paramedical / Healthcare Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in first aid training, emergency response, or related fields.

B. Additional Requirements

  • First Aid Trainer: Strong communication and teaching skills; ability to conduct practical demonstrations.
  • Team Leader / District Head: Leadership and coordination abilities; willingness to travel within assigned blocks / districts.

Recruitment Process

Step 1 — Online Application
  • Candidates must apply online through the FACI Official Recruitment Portal: www.faci.ind.in/recruitment.
  • Documents Required:
    • Educational certificates.
    • First Aid certification proof.
    • Experience certificates.
    • District / Block placement preference (if applicable).
Step 2 — Written & Practical Examination
  • Written Test (50 Marks): MCQ-based on First Aid knowledge, health safety, and crisis management.
  • Practical Test (50 Marks): Assessment of CPR, wound dressing, fracture management, and emergency handling etc.
  • Passing Criteria: Minimum 90% aggregate score to qualify.

Training & Deployment

  • Training Duration: 60 hours (4 weeks) in hybrid mode (online + practical).
  • Training Fee: ₹15,000 (to be paid by the candidate).
  • Certification: Successful candidates will receive a First Aid Instructor Certificate before deployment.
